Seth's Blog: The myth of preparation Here's Seth's article that talks about being a beginner, an intermediate and an expert. I spun it for Kathy into an analogy about real estate, or anything for that matter. Kathy and I are alike in that we hit the ground running. When we're inspired we're passionate, there's no stopping us. We learn and learn and learn... but when we hit the intermediate phase, we feel stalled, things go so slow it's excruciating. That's when we feel we've peaked, when we feel like we need to do something else. We never get through the intermediate level, cause we don't recognise where we are.
You've heard of people who quit just before success?
I think this is why.
