Homesteading

While they're not exactaly homesteading, like in the old timey, live on the land, tame it, make it yours and you can keep it sort of way, it is running a small family farm and being independant - well almost. Join him and her as they're out in the country, living the farm life and blogging for dear life. Fun and has the ring of truth. I know, for instance, a horse can buck so hard it'll buck the change out of your pockets.
