Fox Creek Falls in Virginia has done as nice a job on a community video as I've seen. Have a look by clicking here Fox Creek Falls. It has it all, the history, the area, the compelling views, this is what I'm talking about.
But Rutherford County has some nice videos. They aren't You Tube, but they do have URLs. It might be possible to put those together and share them on a website.
This video, however starts with a story teller, I remember: From Mount Rogers to Lookout Mountain, made me feel like I was going home - The courthouse, old farms, old churches, the things tht make America great, - speaks to my .... community spirit, faith, this lonely stretch... heritage introducing birthplace of bluegrass, music, heritage, tradition, this is early America....
The river, cutting a swath from here to there, home to trout, drove along the highway and saw glimpses of.... fishing camping boating ancient chestnut, giant hemlock, 120,000 acres of untouched, rugged splendor.
Cut to music - in the midst just above the falls, tucked above the chaos,,, kings grant from the 1750's... in the 1970's the Declaration of Taking - History of area, Jefferson National Forest - Views, Fox Creek Falls, the views will always be protected.
Waterfalls, rhododendron, grapes and more, we stretch into the Appalachian Trail, into the Wilderness, the Virginia Creeper trail..... known for the whitetail deer. Rare, rich heritage, your history, you imagined it, now live it Natural wonders, history and heritage - area famous for rural beauty...
You'll have to watch it closely - looks like a recipe for success.
