Netlog the lipstick chronicles
Zig Ziglar says we're all here to help others. Earle Nightingale says we're here to be of service.
But we ladies seem to be here to wear lipstick
It's a new world. I've just ordered my laundry detergent online. I went ahead and got some dishwasher detergent, dish detergent, and batteries, too. Saves me a trip to town and for $5.00 shipping, well, seems like a bargain.
We have to adapt to this constantly changing terrain. I'm adding flexibility and adaptability to my copy of Franklin's list of virtues. "It is not the strongest or the fittest that survive, but the most adaptable" said Charles Darwin, and I agree, that's why I've enrolled in several online training programs and work hard to stay in touch with new online trends. I have long believed in education, and these days continuing education is exactly that, continuing. There's no end in sight, and there will not be an end as we move toward more, better, and faster computers.
We are sacrificing old beliefs on the alter of change. We are doing things we didn't expect to do, and becoming people we couldn't have imagined ten, twenty, years, ago.
And to welcome this new age, in the spirit of Aquarius which is, in fact, my birth sign, I have agreed to wear lipstick.
God Bless America.
